SAS accredited by largest accreditation body in North America

Sustainability Assurance Services (SAS) received its ANAB-Accredited ISO/IEC 17020:2012 Certification from the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB), demonstrating the highest level of credibility and reliability in inspection services.

It was important for SAS to achieve this accreditation to demonstrate that our processes and systems meet the rigorous ISO requirements and that customers are ensured their assurance assessment is dependable,” said Gina MacIlwraith, MBA, SEP, Assistant Director of Sustainability Assurance Services (SAS).

The certification encompasses critical aspects, including:

  1. Impartiality: Ensuring the inspection body operates independently and without conflict of interest.
  2. Competence: Verifying that personnel and processes meet stringent technical requirements.
  3. Management Systems: Promoting efficient and documented systems to uphold quality and consistency.

As the foremost accreditation body in the United States, ANAB evaluates inspection bodies against ISO/IEC 17020:2012 to confirm their expertise and integrity. Accreditation demonstrates that the inspection body is trustworthy and compliant with international norms.

SAS is proud to have earned this designation and seeks to provide the highest standard of assurance services to clients.
